Meet Tracy
Tracy Johnson is a native of Washington, DC. She attended D.C.P.S. and graduated High School from the School Without Walls located in the Foggy Bottom neighborhood of Washington, D.C. She spent her undergraduate years at an HBCU – Virginia Union University, then went on to post graduate studies at Cambridge College, then Johns Hopkins University and Walden University.
She has been an educator for over 26 years in Washington, DC and the state of Maryland. Though Tracy’s teaching years have been in the elementary setting as a primary and intermediate teacher, she also has experience as a focus teacher in reading and math. In her spare time Tracy wrote her first book titled, “Out of Time, A Book About Honesty”. This character Education focused on the character trait honesty. Tracy believes that having integrity and a strong belief system will help prepare you for the greatest joys in life.
Tracy has a desire and passion to help students in grades K-12 reach their full academic potential by offering a variety of unique tutoring services.
While working with students over decades, Tracy sees the need for remediation, enrichment, and acceleration in our students, especially since the pandemic started in 2020.
Reboot 2.0 was designed to give students a second chance to refine their skills, feel confident in themselves, while raising their self-esteem to become productive students in their higher learning experiences.
My daughter has learning disability and had trouble with reading and math. My Daughter could not have made it through English literature, Developmental reading and math classes without Mrs. Johnson readily available to assist my daughter through her challenges. I am forever grateful and highly recommend Mrs. Johnson’s service to tutor young people
